Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. Professionally known as Aurora and occasionally stylized using uppercase letters like AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well reviewed by various music websites. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was made for an advertisement of John Lewis, and Nature Boy is the Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry's support for her song Runaway in a blog post added to the musician's appreciation. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music was discovering a grand piano in the attic. The piano was fascinating to her the possibilities it offered. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged her to learn music not to get a job or a hobby and as a way to grow. As a result, she began writing the music she composed herself. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her most favored writers. Her mother encouraged her to perform her music in front of the public, but not to achieve fame, but rather to help others realize that they matter and the good they do for the world. As a young girl she started playing the piano and at nine began writing her own songs. It was not until she turned 14 that she told her parents. Aurora isn't something she imagined as a child. The only thing she loves is writing music. For her, the songs she creates are the way that she feels any thing.
